Did you watch Barack TV?
Were you one of the millions to watch the Barack Obama infomercial? If so, we'd like to know what you thought about it. Did it change your opinion? Reinforce your support or your dislike? Make you wish the World Series was more exciting?
It will be a topic in our episode this weekend (oops, did I spoil the surprise?!) so please send your comments to theonramp@gmail.com and contribute to our discussion.

Yup, we watched the Obama Show.
While some of it, like the opening fields of grain were downright corny, the overall production was a masterful presentation.
It moved from vignette to vignette of the average person's problems to short position presentations by Obama.
Throughout the show there was not one word about "Bush, Cheney, McCain, Palin". It was strictly confined to the Obama outlook visa vis the view from the eyes of the common man ... "How do we grow the middle class?"
Very cleverly, each "common man" presented was someone from the Battleground States. But that seemed appropriate.
At the end, a cutaway to a live stadium-packed campaign rally was a grand view of his popularity.
Whether you were a political friend or foe of Obama, you had to marvel at how well his campaign spent $30m.
On the other side, we've heard the complaints about the obscene amount of money raised by Obama by opting out of public financing. However, that scheme was created as a consequence of the Watergate era, with an eye to thwarting big-money lobbyists. That Obama has obtained his money from individuals contributing less than $100 each dispels the charge that somehow his approach was wrong or corrupt. In fact, never again will politicians rely on public finance or big-money lobbyists because of his approach.
On that last point, the "Obama Show" was a huge success. Now let's see if he wins.
