At a time when Congress' approval rating hovers near the 20% mark and the entire body has proven itself to be more partisan, juvenile, and corrupt (reference Rep. Jefferson, Rep. Nay, Rep. Cunningham, Sen. Lott, Sen. Feinstein, Rep. Pelosi, etc.), and they seem inept to service the American people instead of their own ridiculous ideologies (reference the lack of oversight on the Iraq war, the Bush Administration, and national security), where on the realm on logical thought does one reach the conclusion that the House of Representatives deserves a pay raise?

A PAY RAISE?!?!?! Are you kidding me? If they were working in a standard American corporation, they would be lucky to still have jobs! Just working on the performance of this Congress, their pay would have been docked, expense accounts revoked, perks snatched, long lunches eliminated, company car revoked, and -as I just said- maybe a big pink slip at the end of the day.
